Chicago Refugee Coalition

The Chicago Refugee Coalition is dedicated to developing innovative and responsive solutions that prioritize the dignity of refugees from all over the world. They have developed a comprehensive and multi-faceted approach that takes into account the individual circumstances of each refugee family they serve. As a national partner of Bombas, a social enterprise clothing company, they have donated and distributed over 10,000 new pairs of socks each year. Additionally, they conduct an annual coat drive campaign known as "Cookies & Coats" which collects new and gently used coats to provide warmth to Chicagoland refugee/migrant students.

Casa Guadalupe Center

Through a combination of education and social services, Wisconsin based Casa Guadalupe Education Center works to empower low-income, native-born and Spanish-speaking Latino families to live independent, successful lives, to build strong families and establish meaningful connections within their community.

Centro Romero

The mission of Centro Romero is to provide opportunities for those community residents with the fewest options. The agency realizes its mission with programs that provide essential supportive services for the healthy personal and social development of participants and their families.

The Southwest Collective

Our mission is simple: Build a community among our neighborhoods.We break down barriers, borders and boundaries in order to build a community for all on the Southwest Side of Chicago.​We connect families in need with the things they need, via our Freebies for Families events. We connect small businesses to each other, and to free resources to level the playing field among an area rife with corporate chains.  We publish all information in dual languages, so no one is left out. If a wall stands in our way, we'll break it down.

Comedor Santa Maria AC

Comedor Santa Maria AC is dedicated to eliminating food insecurity, malnutrition, interfamilial violence and vulnerability. Our organization delivers solutions through nutrition and education so that children in extreme poverty conditions can develop and freely set life paths for themselves. In Mexico, Comedor Santa Maria AC’s proven programs empower children to grow into upright and productive members of society.
